  • Lucy Letby: An Association: "We didn’t want to believe it.”

  • Lucy Letby: Baby J Part 2 “All the investigations could not explain why she had the seizures.”

In this episode, Liz and Caroline explain the rest of the evidence the jury have heard about Baby J, ‘a nice little baby’ who Lucy Letby is accused of attempting to murder in November 2015 by smothering.

Jurors have been told her parents had been preparing to take her home when she suddenly collapsed and suffered two seizures at the end of a night shift. The court heard there was no ‘obvious’ medical cause for her brain being starved by oxygen and it’s the prosecution case that Lucy Letby must have been responsible. Lucy Letby denies all the charges.
