At the 2004 Superbowl, Janet Jackson's breast was exposed to the world for less than a second. The clothing-related snafu was soon dubbed a "wardrobe malfunction." Despite the fact that Justin Timberlake was the one who ripped the bustier from her body, it was Jackson who received societal condemnation. Meanwhile, Timberlake became more successful than ever.
