THE UNITE SHOW
A main reason we're building UNITE is to help wellness businesses with sales & marketing by connecting them with people looking for exactly what they do. (https://www.unite.love)
Kristall & Shine have run over 120 events (7000+ tickets sold, $280k in sales), big & small, & our biggest time expense was always marketing.
We want to create this new platform to be the hub for wellbeing events, products, & services. It will be like Airbnb, where the listings sell themselves as people are on there searching.
Some marketing ideas:
1. Go live & share your vision & mission, interview presenters, do a teaser online event. You can use the UNITE LoveStream & go live on Facebook through it! https://www.unite.love/lovestream
2. Share in relevant fb groups
3. Create ads on fb & IG or other platforms (TikTok etc.) Figuring this out will give you a clearer sense of how much you need to pay to sell a ticket. For example, we paid $15 to sell a $33-$55 ticket to a past event. That gave us a clear way to budget.
4. DM people who may be interested
5. Make posts that create engagement with your ideal audience. e.g. "who lives near Vancouver & loves ecstatic dance?" and then comment your link to each who respond...
6. Create a fb group for your ideal audience "Ecstatic Dancers in Vancouver & Lower Mainland" & share your stuff & also make it valuable, e.g. let other dance event creators share...
7. Get your email list rolling & send regular emails (we use Mailchimp)
8. Connect with your local community. Go to events, put up flyers, partner with local yoga or float studios.
9. Sell vendor & sponsor spaces
10. Partner with people who would benefit from you and promote your events in exchange. For example, we want to partner with you and promote your events if you use UNITE as your ticketing platform as we want to grow our community.
11. Add your events to various media publications like Vancity Buzz etc...
Kyle Pearce has a good article: https://www.diygenius.com/.../how-to-...
Here is our list of media links: https://docs.google.com/.../1PHUWGfr9....
12. Partner with influencers who would like to attend for free & share on social or something like that
13. Listen to Gary Vee! He is all about tons of content shared across all platforms
14. Find affiliates (use Eventbrite tracking links)
Another BIG thing, probably the biggest thing, well 2 things...
1. Meditate, get into the receiving mode (listen to Abraham-Hicks for details), and follow inspiration.
2. Allow ideas & insights to come to you & follow when feel super excited about it. This in my experience leads to creating things that have inherent power and virality which is more powerful than any marketing tactic. Creating something SO GOOD that people can't wait to buy it and then tell everyone about it!
And... Share your events on UNITE & tell people about it!
What's fun is that when you add you
