The documentary, titled: The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, details Holmes’ rise to fame in the tech world and her substantial fall after it was discovered that her multi-billion dollar company, Theranos, was just smoke and mirrors. Although Holmes attempted to shield herself from regulators by surrounding herself with extremely powerful people, her lies about Theranos’ ability to revolutionize blood tests were exposed and criminal charges would soon follow.
