The miraculous account of a child being resurrected is given by Zeke Johnson. In Blanding Utah, Zeke had an unforgettable experience when he witnessed the power of the Savior in restoring a promise made to a mother many years before. Brother Johnson's testimony is symbolic of the hope that we all can have in our deepest despairs and quiet suffering when we lose a loved one.

In October of 2015, I had the most profound thinning of the veil experience. The Lord allowed me to have a sacred, revelatory interaction with my two children, Morgan and Logan Van Smith (twins) who passed away in 1999. The messages that Morgan and Logan testified of were all about the importance of familial relationships, their involvement in the gathering of Israel on the other side of the veil and a testimony of the importance of temples on both sides of the veil. The years of enduring pain were finally over and a new enlightened way of looking at their death changed my perspective on this profound opportunity that I had to still be involved in their lives even though we live currently on different sides of the veil.

There truly is hope after such a horrific experience, because the Savior not only atoned for all mankind, but was also resurrected and overcame the chains of death, that we may be reunited with our celestial little ones again.

Parents who experience the pain of losing a child at whatever age and stage, find their testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ in the forefront of their minds. The doctrine of the salvation of little children is one of the most divine, merciful, and hopeful doctrines that have been restored to the earth in these latter days. Joseph and Emma Smith experienced the loss of 6 of their own children, which caused extreme pondering upon the subject of where and how their little ones were doing on the other side of the veil. Thankfully this glorious, restored doctrine, when studied, can help to heal the empty arms and broken hearts of the families left behind after these horrible losses. The Savior is his infinite mercy teaches that all are brought back into the bosom of our Father and will receive all blessings pertaining to salvation and exaltation.

A horrible accident claimed the life of the son of Brother and Sister Wells. Heavenly Father allowed this boy to come through a thinning of the veil experience to his mother. When you are seeking to gather Israel, miracles can be found in many different places, including a local antique store. Several members of one family were found in an 1817 Bible, in an antique store on Main Street, Logan, Utah. The Lord clearly was in the details of this chance happening, that led to this miracle of finding long lost cousins and eternal connections.

In General Conference of October 2014, Elder Allan Packer, spoke about the needed requirements for eternal life, a spiritual passport of sorts. He teaches that Temple and Family History work gives those needed stamps in our passports not only to ourselves but to our ancestors. All the while contributing to the Book of Life, the final book,  that the whole of the House of Israel will be judged out of.

In October 2019, a prompting lead to an antique store in Logan, Utah. The Lord often leads people into places and circumstances that allow for the saving of His children. On that warm day in October, an 1817 Bible was found that contained written proof that the Empey family existed. Almost 200 years after this Bible was printed, a miraculous manifestation allowed the Empey family to be together once again for the eternities. Yet another story of proof that God's work will be performed in miraculous ways as we are engaged in the Gathering of Israel.
