Julian de Stoop speaks with one of Australia's most successful basketball coaches Brendan Joyce. A talented footballer and basketballer, Joyce knocked back a chance to play with North Melbourne in the VFL to pursue his basketball career. After 12 years as player in the NBL, Joyce went on to coach more than 400 games in the league - the highlight being leading the Hawks to their one and only NBL championship to date in 2001. He has also been coach of the Opals and assistant coach for the Boomers. He's now plying his trade in Taiwan
