With the rollout of 5G, EMF (Electromagnetic Fields) are becoming a topic of heavy debate in the health space. Concerns about the constant exposures to EMF through our consistent cell phone use and being surrounded by WiFi constantly has led many to question how healthy is it to be bombarded by these unnatural, man-made signals. And since weight loss is a byproduct of health, it is natural to assume that EMF has consequences on the scale.
To break down this topic and to give us some strategies on how to mitigate our exposure to EMF, we invited Justin Frandson to the show. Justin is an Athleticism Performance Coach that has worked with amateur and professional athletes for over the past two decades. He saw his athlete breaking down from the excessive levels of EMF from their SMART watches, wireless earbuds, and electric cars. He now sells the Grounding and Faraday Bags to lower the level of EMF by using the healing pulse of the earth to repel EMF.
Jean Titus is proof that the we can get better with age. Titus is a sought-after wellness expert, coach, and motivational speaker who shows that age is just a number and we can look as good in our 50's as we did in our 20's.
Is it possible to get the results of fasting, but still be able to eat? Fasting has been proven to have a wide range of health benefits that include weight loss, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. But, for some, not eating for extended periods of time is difficult.
To present this life hack that allows us to eat and stay in a fasted state, we invited Dr. William Hsu to the show. Dr. Hsu joined L-Nutra in 2019 as Chief Medical Officer where he leads the clinical development effort and advances the education and adoption of fasting and the Fasting Mimicking Diet as an innovative tool to extend human lifespan.
One of the main reasons diets fail is when we don't stick to the diet fully, many of us have the tendency to just quit. We become obsessed with perfection and compliance, not allowing ourselves to shift gears if life throws us off a bit. This all or nothing approach destroys our best intentions and stops us from reaching our weight loss goals.
To help us ditch this approach and show us how to be more flexible, we invited Kate Lyman to the show. Kate supports and educates her clients so they are ready to navigate their nutrition no matter what life throws at them without the "screw it" mentality, guilt, or endless dieting cycles.
Research shows that up to 80% of New Year's resolutions fail. In the health and weight loss space, it is pretty obvious why. Once that clock hits midnight and our goal is in sight, most of us sprint into the New Year trying to change every single bad habit that got us into our health predicament in the first place. Truth is, we didn't get there overnight and small changes grow into huge gains!
Jason Scrofani, owner of JDS Hometraining joins the show to highlight this inconvenient truth. Jason drives home the point that there isn't a magic bullet and slow and steady wins the race.
We admit it. We've neglected our plant based peeps. Not intentionally of course, just seemed to happen that way. But as people are planning for the New Year, we've seen a huge interest in the subject of cutting back on animal products. So it's time to get some guidance on how to do this.
We invited Hope Pedraza to break it down for us. Hope is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, host of the Hopeful and Wholesome Podcast and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. She helps people heal their gut with a plant-focused diet and functional nutrition.
This podcast is dedicated to helping our audience maintain a healthy weight by any means necessary. So that requires us to think outside of the box when needed. So when it comes to losing weight, perhaps there are tools that aren't exclusive to diet and exercise.
Tapping or EFT, can be that tool. Kim McPherson, aka the Well Nurse, joins the show to discuss how this technique can help us lose weight by regulating our eating habits, reducing stress levels, and calming our relationship with food.

Diet myths are nothing new. Humanity has been bombarded by diet myths throughout history. So in a time where information is abundant, it is even harder to tell what works and what doesn't.
To help us weed through the sea of endless data, we invited Dr. Robert Davis to the show. Dr. Davis is the author of Supersized Lies which lays out strategies that research shows actually work. He also shares how to not fall victim to the conventional guidance and how to achieve success by forging your own path.
Modern medicine has dominated the way we treat cancer today. However, there was a time when truly groundbreaking discoveries were being made by a man who was truly not expected to make that type of impact, especially being a Jewish, openly gay man in Nazi Germany.
That man was the Nobel laureate Otto Warburg who discovered how cancer cells eat. His story is told by Sam Apple in his new book, Ravenous. Sam shares this historical account along with investigating the dangers of sugar and the link between obesity and cancer.
