Jesus is Lord

The Easter story asks us two important questions: do you believe Jesus actually rose from the dead?; and if you do, will you make him your “Lord”? Matt’s Easter message challenges us to think about what it means to say ‘yes’ to the Easter story.

Fully devoted

We live in a world that talks about Christian faith like there are “levels”. Believing there is a God is the base level. Going to church regularly (not just when you feel  like it) is a level up. Reading your Bible daily is another level up. Giving money to a church is another level up. And so it goes on. In this message we look at the way Jesus and the early church talked about commitment to God and discover an “all or nothing” faith where “fully devoted” is the only real option.

Doing good

Fruit of the Spirit

Series: Galatians

In this message Matt talks about what life looks like for followers of Jesus living in the ‘freedom’ that comes with faith in Jesus - about the ‘fruit’ we should expect to see.

Freedom in Christ

Child of God

Grace vs law

Series: Galatians

Paul was incredibly frustrated. After pouring his heart and soul into the Galatian church he couldn’t believe that they would drift so far from the message of freedom and grace that he taught them. In this message Paul makes his argument for why the Galatians (and us!) don’t need to add rules and traditions to message of God’s grace. For Christians, this message encourages us to remember the faith that originally saved us. For those of us still checking out Christian faith, this message is clear encouragement to not get confused by extra rules and traditions that we might believe are necessary to believe in God.

The original “good news”

Resurrection
