Enjoy, fellow kids!

The 2007 show focussed on a group of entitled rich kids scoffing at lavish settings, hooking up constantly, and treating money like toilet paper.

Join our brief conversation on the new Monsters, Inc. spin-off series - Monsters at Work. Billy Crystal and John Goodman return as Mike and Sully, but the main storyline features a new set of characters working in the MIFT maintenance sector. While discussing the first two episodes, which follow Tylor Tuskmon (Ben Feldman) first days on the job, we bring up how the show came about and what the reviews are saying.  Ultimately, it's still Pixar, so you're bound to enjoy it.

Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal's 2018 movie Blindspotting was a critical success despite tepid results in the box office.  From Fruitvale Station, to Atlanta, to Masters of None it has been compared to an increasing medium of work that takes a hard look at societal issues (gentrification, incarceration, race). The television adaptation sticks with the Oakland centric storyline, but focusses on Ashley, played by Jasmine Cephas Jones. On Today's Episode, we compare the movie to the show, we look at episode four "The Four Hustlateers," and discuss what happened.

Don't be fooled by the ominous title, this show is as family friendly as it gets. It follows Hilde Lisko and her friends, a trio of young investigative journalists, in their pursuit to uncover the truth behind the contamination of Erie Harbor lake. The show boasts a big cast (Jim Sturgess, Brooklyn Prince, Abby Miller...) but its most impressive feature is that it is based on the actual life of Hilde Lysiak, a girl who broke a murder news story at 9 years old, and is currently the youngest member of the Society of Professional Journalists.

In Today's Episode we discuss "Dark Rooms," the fourth episode of the second season. Hope you tune in!

In The Republic of Sarah, Sarah leads the town of Greylock, New Hampshire to declare independency from the United States to avoid a mining company from extracting all the coltan, which is a valuable metal ore.

On Today’s Episode, we’re looking at episode 3: “The Lines Between Us,” which was written by Debra Fordham, a well-known producer and writer on Scrubs.

The episode currently has an 7.2 on IMDB. We’ll be going over the plot, discussing how practical it is to run your own state, and revealing how the show was resurrected from the dead.

Evil is a Paramount+ show in its second season. It stars Mike Colter, Katja Herbers, and Aasif Mandvi. "A is for Angel" follows the case of a man, Raymond Strand, who is thought to be possessed by the archangel Michael. We break down the full episode, discuss the shows creation, and call out our favorite moments. Hope you enjoy!

The Mysterious Benedict Society is a Disney Plus YA adventure series based on the novels of Trenton Lee Stewart about four children, a boarding school, an eccentric benefactor, and a plot to destroy the world.

Based on the 2007 novel of the same name, this is a family friendly story reminiscent to A Series of Unfortunate Events. It was produced under Hulu but moved to Disney (Since they're a majority stakeholder) and we talk about the first two episodes in this podcast.
Hope you enjoy!

Kevin Can F**k Himself, or Kevin Can F... Himself a meta-fiction black comedy that splits time between being a sitcom and drama. It’s been compared to WandaVision for its satirizing, reality bending, “things aren’t the way they seem to be” plot.

Valerie Armstrong, best known for her work as story editor on Lodge 49, first conceived of the show in 2017 around the time that Erinn Hayes was fired unceremoniously from Kevin James’ show Kevin Can Wait.

She pitched her idea to AMC and worked tandem with executive producers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack to get the show underway.

The trailer led to a lot of speculation for what this series could do. We discuss the first two episodes in the podcast. Listen in if you're interested!
