Thank you for Listening to the first episode of the “Focus on your family” podcast. I wanted everyone to know that I take great care and consideration with the people and content that I am sharing in this podcast. Everyone’s stories and experiences are unique, and yet we each identify with something. We survived the evil of Focus on the Family, Dr. James Dobson, along with the cult that allowed and pushed this rhetoric. I am proud of who we are and I am proud that we are healing loudly.

Today I have the honor of producing Topher’s story. While they were talking, they shared that they have information about John Macarthur and his church. Topher will be back next week to talk about the abuse that is being taught and covered up- all under the umbrella of protection.

TRIGGER WARNING: in this episode, you will hear about Child abuse, animal abuse, and domestic violence. Please pay attention to how your body is doing. If you notice your heart rate is elevated, or you feel your body start to tense up please stop the podcast and take some deep breaths. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this podcast stories of abuse are peppered throughout the episode so I cannot isolate it to time stamps.
