Chiquita Tate, 34, was a trailblazing criminal defense attorney.   Even her adversaries in the courtroom could do nothing but praise her.  Unfortunately, Chiquita’s personal life was a stark contrast from her reality.  She constantly contemplated leaving her husband, who had a documented abusive streak.  On February 19, 2009, Chiquita told her sister that she was done with her husband.  That night, Chiquita, was murdered.
