In 2014, Keonte Chavis, 19, had just learned that she’d passed the Air Force exam with flying colors.  Because she would have a short break before starting her new career, she decided to be proactive and stack her coins — which ultimately led her to apply for a job at a local supermarket. When she fails to show up to her job interview, it alarms her family.   Two days later, they’d get the most gut wrenching news: Keonte had been murdered.
