For many years, the Taylors were highly respected in their community of Wendell, NC.  Angela Taylor, the matriarch of the family, was a preacher, and her husband,  Sylvester Taylor Sr., was a deacon. Their unwavering faith and support  really helped their daughter LaTonya—especially as she navigated life as a newly separated mother of three.  But that suddenly changed on April 9, 2014.  LaTonya was in her bedroom when heard a series of noises that caught her attention. What transpired next would leave an everlasting mark on the Taylor family.
