Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser is one of the best female hockey players in the world. With seven world championships, six Olympic appearances, and five Olympic medals, she is a titan of sport and a leader both on and off the ice. She is a hero, an inspiration, and a mentor to so many young athletes, helping to make the dreams of young girls in hockey attainable. She accomplished all of this before a women's league existed and is now a shining light for women's hockey today. And if that wasn't enough, after retiring from hockey in 2017, she is now a practicing Family and Emergency Medicine doctor. We love her story and hope you do too! Follow her @hchickwick.
