As “The Odyssey” continues to dominate the box office for the second weekend in a row, Elon Musk has renewed his vow to create an AI version of Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”. Musk maintains that Nolan cast non-white characters in his movie in order to be considered for the Academy Awards. Musk, telling his followers, “Before this year ends, Grok Imagine will make a full-length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Home.”

Colt Gray was only 14-years-old when he brought an assault rifle to school September 4th, 2024, killing 2 fellow students, 2 teachers and injuring 8 others. Friday, he pleaded guilty, avoiding a trial scheduled for October and heard victim impact statements from his victims’ family members. One by one, they expressed the pain and horror they each live with and asked the judge to sentence the teen to life without the possibility of parole. This week both Colt and his father Collin, who was convicted of second degree murder for giving his son access to the assault rifle used in the mass shooting, will find out their fates from separate judges.”

The President spent roughly an hour on the dais, finally giving that much anticipated speech to the very group he spars with daily, the members of the White House correspondents association. Even though he said last night’s speech wasn’t as much of a “doozy” as his original speech he planned to give back in April, he still delivered cutting, offensive remarks aimed at some of his familiar foes. The president went after at least one member of this cabinet and made a few, rare self deprecating jokes that landed. But the tension in the room was real, with many of his biting, insensitive comments putting members of the audience in an awkward position.

A Baltimore mom came home from a 12 hour work shift to find her 15-year-old daughter shot and killed in her own bed, and her 9-year-old son shot and killed in the hallway. It took a few weeks, but police now say they have their killer in custody: a 16-year-old boy who had apparently only recently begun to talk with her daughter.
