In this solo episode, I’m getting real about the “messy middle” i.e. the part of your thirties where life feels uncertain, timelines haven’t gone to plan, and you start questioning… is this how it’s meant to look?
If you’re feeling stuck, behind, or like you missed some invisible life memo, you’re not alone. I share my own story of navigating through the hard parts: financial stress, heartbreak, a total career pivot, and how I slowly found my way back to myself.
What you can do if you’re in this place right now, wanting to move on to your next chapter, but not knowing how or where to start. I am sharing all of the things that help me when I’m in the messy middle, from acceptance to taking action to putting yourself out there to connect with others going through the exact same thing.
And if you’re looking for a space to do this work with support- come and join us inside Turning, the doors are now open!

If you’ve ever felt anxious about the so-called fertility cliff, worried that time is running out, and want to learn more about how you can future-proof your fertility, this episode is for you.
Emma sits down with Amanda Baumann, a fertility awareness educator, to talk about the biggest myths around fertility in your 30s, the truth behind the age 35 ‘deadline,’ and what women can actually do to support their fertility long before they’re ready to conceive.
Together, they discuss:
✔️ How the fear-based fertility messaging impacts women’s decisions
✔️ The reality of fertility decline (hint: it’s not as drastic as you’ve been told)
✔️ Why understanding your cycle is one of the most empowering things you can do
✔️ Natural contraception & fertility awareness methods
✔️ How lifestyle changes can slow fertility decline and improve reproductive health
✔️ The role of stress, nutrition, and hormones in fertility
✔️ Why sperm health also matters in conception
✔️ And how to feel calmer and more in control of your fertility, no matter where you are in your journey
Whether you’re actively thinking about having kids or just want to feel less pressure around the topic, this conversation is packed with insights that will help you rethink fertility and feel more empowered about your body and choices.

Before I reached my thirties I had a (very untrue) perception that life in my thirties would get easier, I would be more of an ‘adult’ and life would seamlessly flow along. I was in for a shock when I realized quite quickly that adulting isn’t really a feeling (not one that was going to come in my thirties) and that this decade was full of huge changes, decisions and challenges.
In this vulnerable and honest solo episode I am reflecting on each year of my thirties and I have picked one big challenge I went through and the subsequent lesson I learned and took with me on my thirties journey. The stories I am sharing range from discussing career uncertainties, relationship struggles, feelings of being left behind, and welcoming in new chapters and identity shifts.
I invite you to join the waitlist for my brand new membership program TURNING. A community space designed for women in their thirties to support each other. Doors are re-opening in March-sign up here to get first access (there will be limited spots!).
