Our study in Bible prophesy continues
with this 4th lesson concerning the
nation of Israel. As Dr. Mitchell asks,
Is God through with Israel? Is there
hope for Israel? Will God fulfill His
promises to His nation, Israel?
Our study will examine some major scriptures in which God’s relationship
with Israel as a nation is demonstrated
for our instruction.
As noted, God is going to gather Israel
back to the land that the Lord promised to them. This gathering began in May of
1948 when this people became its own nation once again even with her enemies
surrounding her.

be freed from her enemies? He turns our

is waiting for their national
repentance.

November 05, 2021 Prophecy - Israel - Jeremiah 30:3-7 - Prog 10
The future history of the nation of Israel
is revealed in Bible prophecy. They
are still a people beloved of God.
Even now, Israel has been coming back
into their own land, spoken in Jeremiah
30:3ff. They’ve had their own government
since May 1948.
But the future holds a time of distress
and trouble for the nation of Israel
called the day of Jacob’s trouble - Jeremiah 30:7, - but he will be saved out of
it. The saved in that day will have hope
for deliverance thru their Messiah, Jesus.
Ezekiel 20:38 states that God will purge
the nation from her rebels. So in
Zechariah 13:8-9, the LORD says he will cut off 2/3 and will bring the 1/3
THROUGH the fire.

November 04, 2021 Prophecy - Israel - Joel 2, Amos 5, Zephaniah 1, Daniel 12, Matthew 24 - Prog 09
As to the Biblical doctrine of the Day
of LORD, Dr. Mitchell asks, “What is the
day of the LORD? and when will it start?”
The Day of the LORD is a day of judgment
upon the nations and the nation of
Israel. Several scriptures describe the
Day of the LORD.
Dr. Mitchell reads these beginning
with the book of Joel 2, as well as from
Amos 5, Zephaniah 1, Daniel 12, Matt. 24.
These numerous scriptures reference the Day of the LORD and it’s judgment on the
whole earth and the people then in it.
Would you escape from this Day of terror?
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you
will be saved and delivered at this very
moment from that terrible day.

November 03, 2021 Prophecy - Israel - Romans 11:1 - Prog 08
Our study on Biblical prophecy continues
with a focus on the relationship of God to the nation of Israel.
Even though Israel has a history of rebellion against God, is God through
with His nation whom He chose for
Himself? We find that God has an eternal
plan for Israel - His nation and the land on
which they dwell today.
As Dr. Mitchell relates from Romans
11:1, God, having scattered the
nation away from their land which He gave
them, He still has not abandoned them.
God has, however, given them a partial
blindness until the fullness of the
Gentiles has come in.
And when that is completed, it is
written, “all Israel shall be saved”,
that is, all Israel who believes in their Messiah at that time will be
saved.

In our study on last days prophecy
revealed in the Bible, we now transition
from the church to Israel, that is the
nation of Israel.
Dr. Mitchell will speak with regards to
the nation of Israel and the coming of
the Lord. He shares with us several
scriptures that show the relationship
between that nation and God.
It is first revealed in Deuteronomy
7:6ff. This nation is chosen by God for no other reason than that He loves them.

In this message, Dr. Mitchell concludes
the Bible’s prophetic teaching on the
church.
He briefly summarizes the scriptures
which refer to the church and the
rapture. He states the different
theological views of the church with
reference to the timing of the rapture
when the Lord comes for His own.
He references the Bible’s teaching of
the great tribulation in the book
of Revelation, chapters 6-19.
What is the place of the church with
reference to the great tribulation?
Dr. Mitchell gives us understanding in
connection to this worldwide event.
So, where will the church be during this
time of judgment upon the world?
It is the Bible’s teaching that the
church, the body of Christ, will be in
heaven with Lord Jesus Christ during
the time of God’s wrath on earth.

October 29, 2021 Prophecy - The Church - John 14:1-6, 1Thessalonians 4:13, Romans 13:11 - Prog 05
Romans 13:11 - Besides this, knowing the time,
that the hour has come for you to awaken out
of sleep, for our salvation is nearer to us than
when we first believed.
We are exhorted from this passage to wake up
to the conditions in this present time for the
coming of the Lord is nearer than ever before.
Prophecy is even now being fulfilled as is
evident from the nation of Israel becoming a
nation again in 1948.
Dr. Mitchell will direct our attention to
1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 where we read of
the coming of the Lord from heaven for the church.
This was first spoken by our Lord Jesus Himself
in John 14:1-6. This event is also known as the
rapture.

Our study continues with prophecy concerning the church
the body of Christ. We are reminded that the church is not
Israel and Israel is not the church. This is once again brought
out in ACTS 15:14-18.
In this lesson, Dr. Mitchell brings out the personal hope
of the individual Christian which is to be with Christ.
This is found in Philippians 2:20-23. He then goes on to
present the hope of the Church, the body of Christ, which
is the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven as
found in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

the character of the church in the last days also
referred to as the apostasy of the church at large.
We begin this study in Jude 11 where we read
three types of apostasy which were already being found
even in the churches of the 1st century.
From Jude we will then turn to 2 Timothy 3:1 where
we read of the character of men within the professing
church. Dr. Mitchell explores this passage and explains
how this is happening. This is happening even now.
So what can a Christian do during this time? Dr. Mitchell
takes us to 2 Tim. 3:14-17 where we read of the
total sufficiency of the Inspired, inerrant and infallible Scriptures.

Acts 15:14-19 will be the starting point for this

At this time in history, God is now
calling out a people, person by person from
