Throughout the year, Land-Grant Holy Land will be bringing you uncut audio primarily from Ohio State press conferences, but also from individual interview sessions.
After Ohio State scored 103 points in a win over Indiana State — including a career-high 33 from Bruce Thornton — Ques Glover, Aaron Bradshaw, and Jake Diebler spoke to the media about the win and other topics.
Glover said that the speed that Indiana State likes to play at actually played into his hands a bit, as the senior guard finished with a season-high 15 points and five assists. He also said that, even though he is three years older than him, he “looks up to” Thornton because of the way he goes about his business.
Bradshaw said he truly appreciated the effort and attention he got from teammates for the three weeks he was away from the team while the university investigated him for a possible “domestic incident” during November. He said that he isn’t sure if he is currently playing at the highest level he’s capable of, but that he is “running his own race.”
Diebler spoke last and spent time talking about Glover, Mobley, and Bradshaw. He said that while the long two-point jumpers aren’t the best “analytical” shot you can take, he wants Mobley taking shots that are not contested — if Mobley determines that shot is his best shot, he should take it. Diebler also said that Bradshaw impacts Ohio State on both ends, and his absence left them shorthanded in more ways than he could list. Connect with Connor:
