Unequal Sequel

UNEQUAL SEQUEL - BONUS REVIEW EPISODE- THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2~

This week on Unequal Sequel, we’re heading back into the world of fashion, deadlines and impossible expectations with The Devil Wears Prada 2 — the sequel nobody thought would happen, but everyone immediately had opinions about.

Years after the original became a modern classic, we’re catching up with old faces, new power struggles and a fashion industry that’s changed almost as much as the people inside it. But does this sequel have something new to say, or is it relying on nostalgia and designer labels to carry it through?

We dive into the performances, the legacy of the original and whether returning to Runway still feels fresh nearly two decades later.

UNEQUAL SEQUEL - BONUS REVIEW EPISODE- GREENLAND 2: MIGRATION~

This week on Unequal Sequel, we’re leaving the bunker behind and heading into the wasteland with Greenland 2: Migration — the follow-up to a film that probably didn’t need one… but got one anyway.

Set years after the comet wiped out most of Earth, we’re trading panic for survival as the Garrity family cross a broken Europe in search of something resembling hope

Does Migration expand the story in meaningful ways, or is this just a longer, bleaker road trip through the apocalypse? Expect big questions, bigger disasters and a debate over whether some stories are better left buried.

On a side note we do dive in spoilers but it’s very clear when that happens because we do give out a big warning. So if you don't want it spoiled then stay clear of this episode.

We are back doing another Spotlight episode and this time we’re heading back into animated worlds for Animated Sequels 🎬✨

From beloved follow-ups to unnecessary cash-ins, we’re shining a spotlight on the sequels that tried to recapture the magic — and the ones that completely missed it. Whether it’s bigger worlds, new characters or just more of the same, we’re digging into what makes an animated sequel work… or not.

Do they expand the story in meaningful ways, or are they stuck repeating the formula with shinier visuals? Expect deep-ish cuts, nostalgic throwbacks and plenty of sequel chat.

UNEQUAL SEQUEL - BONUS ANNIVERSARY EPISODE - ICE AGE THE MELTDOWN ~

This week on Unequal Sequel, we’re celebrating 20 years of Ice Age: The Meltdown — the follow-up that turned up the heat (and the water).

We revisit Manny, Sid and Diego’s second outing to see if this sequel still holds up, or if it’s been washed away by time. Does it build on the original or just repeat the formula with bigger set pieces?

Expect nostalgia, icy-hot takes and a deep dive into a sequel that’s been drifting for two decades.

UNEQUAL SEQUEL - BONUS REVIEW EPISODE- THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE~

This week on Unequal Sequel, we’re blasting off into the cosmos for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie — a sequel that trades pipes and castles for planets, gravity shifts and a much bigger adventure.

We dive into how this follow-up expands the world of Mario, from dazzling new settings to higher stakes, and whether it captures the same magic that made the first film such a box office smash. Does going intergalactic give the franchise a fresh boost, or does it drift too far from what made it fun?

On a side note we do dive in spoilers but it’s very clear when that happens because we do give out a big warning. So if you don't want it spoiled then stay clear of this episode.

UNEQUAL SEQUEL - BONUS REVIEW EPISODE- PEAKY BLINDERS THE IMMORTAL MAN~

This week on Unequal Sequel, we’re heading to the smoke-filled streets of Birmingham for Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man — the long-awaited continuation of a story steeped in style, violence and razor-sharp ambition.

But there’s a twist… Rich has watched every single episode. Dave hasn’t seen a minute. One comes armed with years of loyalty and lore, the other is walking in completely blind.

We dive into whether this cinematic chapter rewards longtime fans or leaves newcomers in the dust, unpack the performances, the legacy, and whether the jump from TV to film truly elevates the story — or just extends it.

Does The Immortal Man stand tall on its own, or is this one strictly for the Shelby faithful? Expect clashing perspectives, deep dives and one very unequal sequel experience.

On a side note we do dive in spoilers but it’s very clear when that happens because we do give out a big warning. So if you don't want it spoiled then stay clear of this episode.
