  • Episode 4: Jessica Gallagher
Dr Jess Gallagher is one seriously amazing woman. She's represented Australia in three sports (alpine skiing, athletics and track cycling) and has grabbed a slice of sporting history, becoming the nation's first athlete – Olympian or Paralympian – to medal at both the Summer and Winter Games. At the age of just 17, Jessica was diagnosed with a rare, degenerative eye disease, impacting her sporting dreams as a netballer. But just four short years later, she unexpectedly discovered the world of Paralympic sport… and pursued it with a passion. Being visually impaired, Jess relies on a guide to act as her eyesight when competing, often at incredibly fast speeds (think 100km per hour, straight down a mountain!). Now, as a motivational speaker, she uses her unique experience to teach businesses the true meaning of trust, how to take opportunity as soon as it arises, and how to improve performance by having the foresight to predict the results. In this can't-miss-a-minute chat, we speak to Jess about sport, success, what's next… and the simple steps that can help every single one of us realise our true potential.

  • Episode 2: Samantha Gash

What does it take to run across an entire country for 77 days, non-stop? Just ask endurance athlete and motivational speaker Samantha Gash. A lapsed lawyer from Melbourne, she walked away from a promising corporate career for a brand new mission: Dedicating her life to running for social change, and raising awareness for causes she cares passionately about. At the age of 25, she was the first woman (and youngest person ever) to complete the world's toughest endurance race, the Four Deserts Grand Slam, running four, 250km ultra-marathons in one calendar year. Then in 2016, she ran 3253km across India, raising more than $200,000 for World Vision's health and education programs in the process. Over the past 18 months, her life has taken a completely different turn as she competed on Australian Survivor, and rediscovered a whole new love affair with running after giving birth to her first baby, Harry. In this incredibly inspiring interview, Sam shares her thoughts on life, love, motivation, mental toughness… and reveals her epic new running mission for 2019.

  • Episode 1: Sharni Layton
Over a 14-year sporting career, Sharni Layton became one of our most well-known and decorated netball players. She's won world titles with the Samsung Diamonds, along with Commonwealth Games gold in 2014. Meanwhile, off the court, the popular defender shocked Australia earlier this year when she has bravely stepped away from the court and missed the 2018 Commonwealth Games due to mental exhaustion. Having recently retired from netball (and announced a move to AFLW in 2019) Sharni's now more determined than ever to make a comeback on the international stage, speak openly about mental health, and be an inspiration to others who've experienced adversity. In this intimate chat, Sharni shares what she's learnt about emotional resilience, backing yourself, the incredible rise of women in sport, and how she finally decided it was time to walk away from the career she truly loved.
