The World Cup is on! We're back with Episode 193 as we do a quick catch up from the road as we continue with the group stage!

The United States Men's National Team has some momentum and they've built a ton of support through their play thus far. We discuss the two wins over Paraguay and Australia and what it was like in the stadiums for both matches. We also look ahead to the final group stage match against Türkiye and a Round of 32 match in Santa Clara on July 1st.

We also take a look back at the World Cup thus far and all the cool things that have happened on the field and off. From the Scottish taking over Boston to the Koreans getting love in Mexico, we've seen some terrific moments among fans and we've also seen some awesome action on the field.

It's a new World Cup podcast! The Extra Kick is here to give you some boots on the ground coverage of the 2026 World Cup, as Ashley Anderson and Donald Wine come together to provide their perspectives on this major soccer tournament.

Ashley will be based in Houston for the World Cup, working on site at matches at NRG Stadium (err, Houston Stadium) and meeting fans from all around the world who are there for the games. Donald will be following the USMNT and attending other matches, with his travels taking him during the group stage to LA, Dallas, Vegas, Seattle, and Vancouver.

We’re back with Episode 192 of the USA Soccercast, and we get a double dose of Landon Donovan on this episode as we get ready for the World Cup!

First, we were fortunate to sit down with Landon as part of his work with the Abbott Dream Team, which sends a couple of players from the United States to train at Real Madrid. It’s a great opportunity for them, and Landon speaks about not just the World Cup, but the opportunity the access to top notch soccer can have for aspiring players.

We then got a chance to see Landon Donovan in action at a Raising Cane’s in Inglewood in Hollywood Park just steps from SoFi Stadium. The new Raising Cane’s location was the site of him not just serving chicken to fans, but also to answer questions about the World Cup and what the USMNT players are probably going through as they are a couple of days away from walking out onto the field at SoFi Stadium for their opening match against Paraguay. Landon’s always engaging and candid, and this episode is a must listen!

The United States Men’s National Team are in the middle of their preparation for the 2026 World Cup. We discuss the win over Senegal and what’s to come against Germany on Episode 190.

The 3-2 win over Senegal was a good one, and we break down what went right and what needs to be cleaned up. A win over a top 15 team is always one to take to the bank, but there’s still work to be done.

We then get into a small preview for the Germany match on Saturday, which will be a different beast. To feel like you can dream of advancing far at the World Cup, you have to show you can beat elite, perennial contenders like Die Mannschaft. Who will start? The roster is here! It’s time to take a look at the 26 players who made it and those who didn’t on Episode 188.

The USMNT roster leaked over the weekend but was officially announced on Tuesday. We take a look at the 26 players who comprise the roster that will play in a World Cup on home soil. For those players, their journey begins to try and go after the ultimate dream of winning a World Cup on home soil, something a host has not done since France in 1998.

On the other side are the players who didn’t make the roster, and we give them their due as well. It’s not easy for those guys to not get called in, but they were a big part of this process of preparing the team for the World Cup.
