It was an absolutely thrilling time sitting down with our own operations coordinator, Myka (Mykie) Collins. Mykie has been with us for almost three years and will be running our second cafe. She is one of the most talented, hard working, dedicated people we've EVER met. Everyone can learn a little something from Mykie, even if there are some poop jokes along the way. Few cafes have given us experiences that nearly bring us to tears – Side Track in Opelika, Alabama is one of 'em. They offer top notch coffee and top notch surface in their cafe 20 minutes outside of Auburn. David is one of the best guys around, and we were THRILLED to sit down with him and chat about values, branding, Godzilla, and his five star Little Caesars experience. JP is one of our very best friends within the coffee industry and one of the most genuinely nice people you will ever meet. He is a large inspiration into why we are the service focused brand that we are. He is a busy guy, running wholesale for Bellwood Coffee, building his own brand through his espresso cart, Meadowlark, and playing guitar for Athen's based band Family and Friends. We talk what it's like being a wholesale sales guy, JP's travels, where Meadowlark is heading, and more. Much l...
