Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to love. What is love? Love is limitless. Love is kind. Love flows in abundance. Love is complete. Love is you. To love and be loved is a beautiful feeling. Interestingly enough, we find ourselves in the arms of countless individuals professing their love, yet not feeling a thing. Why? In order to recognize love, you must be one with love. Be familiar with love and understand that it all starts with you.
Love takes patience. Love takes consistency. To love yourself and others, you must have an open heart. Are you ready to be open? Are you ready to love yourself with all of your flaws? The beauty with love is that it’s just like you. Love is imperfectly perfect. It doesn’t come in a special package, wrapped with all the bells and whistles to show off its appeal. Love just is. So just be you. Take time with love. The next time you stare in the mirror, take note from Whitney Houston’s hit ballad, “I Will Always Love You” and say to yourself, “I hope life treats you kind. And I hope you have all you've dreamed of. And I wish you joy and happiness. But above all this I wish you love.”
Remember, love is YOU!

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to you being a conqueror. Understand that you do not fall when an obstacle faces you; it is the obstacle that falls. Why? Because you are a conqueror. This is not to say that you will not fall, it is to say that WHEN you fall that, “if you can look up, you can get up.” Les Brown said that. As long as you have breath in your lungs, baby you can look up. No matter what happens, you must always hold your head up high. Forget the naysayers, forget the past failed relationships, the failed attempts and just keep going after what it is you want.
Conquerors do not accept defeat. YOU do not accept defeat. Just like in the hit song, “Conqueror” by British songstress Estelle, it is important to remember that the only thing that beats failure is a try. Keep going after whatever it is you want out your life and say to yourself, “I’d rather stand tall than live on my knees. ‘Cause I’m a conqueror and I won’t accept defeat.”
Now go out and conqueror the life of your dreams!

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to you living your life. Notice I didn’t say functioning, I said living. Are you truly living your life? Ceasing every moment and opportunity that comes your way? How are you spending the days of your life? Are they adding up to something of significance? If not, why are you doing it? Day in and day out we’ve created this false notion that "functioning" is living. Let’s be clear, things function and it is people that live.
Knock, knock. Your wake-up call is here. Understand that this isn’t a dress rehearsal, this is life. Your life. I need you present each and every moment of your life. Doing, breathing and living out your dreams. I want to see you fulfilling your purpose. Is this going to cost you? Heck ya! But can you really place a price tag on your happiness? Your joy? Your peace? Hell no!
In the hit single, “I Lived,” rock band OneRepublic stresses how important it is to say to yourself, “I owned every second that this world could give. I saw so many places, the things that I did. With every broken bone, I swear I lived.” Can you say that to yourself? I don’t know about you, but that’s what I’m working on. Working on living my life at my greatest potential. I “hope [that] when you take that jump, you don't fear the fall. Hope when the water rises, you built a wall. Hope when the crowd screams out, they're screaming your name. Hope if everybody runs, you choose to stay.”
The next time you jump, don’t ask how high. Just jump and watch how far you can fly! Catch it!

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to being who you want to be. The first question is, who are you? Really, what makes you who you are? If you weren’t you, would you be friends with yourself? How would you treat yourself? Now that you’ve answered those questions, are you who you want to be?
It’s so easy to be influenced by other people and situations. People will defy you. Situations will harden you. So, should you let them define you? No! It’s so important to understand that people and situations do not dictate the type of person you are. The impact it has on your life, is that in which you allow. It is your choice to be who you want to be. Instead of being a product of your past, be a prototype of your future. Catch it!
In the hit single “This Is Your Life”, rock band Switchfoot, charges you to think that “this is your life, are you who you want to be? This is your life, is it everything you dreamed that it would be?” because if it isn’t it’s time for you to take action so that it is. Action is the key to your development. Action is the key to your happiness. Action is the key to you being exactly who it is you want to be! So again, are you who you want to be?

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to releasing the demons that you hold inside. Let go of the unnecessary weight you are carrying and be unapologetically you. Often times we hold so much regret, sadness, fear, etc because of the mere thought of what someone else may think and I say to hell with that.
Let’s face it, we all have a “dark side.” However, it’s only dark because we have yet to allow the light to expose who we truly are. Expose your truth. Not so much to appease other people, but so that you can be authentically you. Live your life knowing that you did it your way. No regrets and no malice. You simply just did you.
I charge you to surround yourself with the right people. The right people are those who will inspire and encourage you to be authentically you. So much so, that even when they’re not around you, you can be you. Just like in the hit song “Demons” by Imagine Dragons you may feel that “with the beast inside, there’s nowhere [to] hide,” but I say to you, when you decide to step forward with your “demons” you’ll realize there wasn’t ever a need to hide in the first place. Catch it!
That's it for your dose of "Vitamin D." Be sure to follow me on all social media @DawnDaiSpeaks and until next time, always remember, "You are your greatest asset!"

Today’s dose of “Vitamin D” is dedicated to giving it your all. I need you to be transparent. How many times have you started a new project or found yourself in the midst of a current project rushing just to get it done? Were you just trying to get by? How much more effort could you have put into that relationship? Job? Workout? You know how you do anything is how you’ll do everything. From now on, you will give it your all.
Art imitates life and for some, life imitates art. With the being said, just like in a production, I want you to be committed to the character that is you. Stand tall in who you are and walk with confidence in your decisions. Be convincing that this is your life and with every step seize every opportunity by the horns.
In the hit song, “All of Me,” R&B crooner John Legend belts that in order to be your most authentic self, you have to give to yourself. Look. Look in the mirror and say, I “give you all of me, and you give me all of you.” Give yourself the life you deserve, nothing shy of the very best!
