If you suddenly get old tomorrow,
would you feel regret when you look back at your life?

Or would you feel that your life is worth it?

Or you have never thought about this kind of things?

If you ask somebody what the meaning of life is,

a thousand different people will give you
    a thousand different answers.

But for me, the answer is happiness.

Doing what I like in places that I enjoy.

These things are not only beneficial for myself.
They are also making this society better.

Controlling my own pace like this
may not have given me a wealthy life.
But it has been giving me satisfaction day by day.

And I feel that life gets better everyday.

    And at the same time,
I have become a person that people enjoy.

And a person who people enjoy is a person
who treats life as he treats his first true love.

    Many people come to us
    in our lives.

    But most of them
    are just trivial passangers.

They show up here and there,
    now and then.

But they never really know us.
    They never succeeded in
opening the gate of our hearts.

    One's time is limited.
    And we should spend it
    in the things and people
that are really worth our devotion.

And I was seldom able to calm down
and reflect on the present moment.

    But what it really means
    to own your own life
is that you put your heart

An old farmer lived on a farm in the mountains with his young grandson. Each morning grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his holybook. One day the grandson asked, "grandpa! I try to read the holy bookjust like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget assoon as I close the book. What good does reading the book do?"

The grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied,"take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water."

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he gotback to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, "you'll have to movea little faster next time", and sent him back to the river with the basketto try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was emptybefore he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it wasimpossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. Theold man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch theboy try again. At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted toshow his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water wouldleak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket intothe river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket wasagain empty. Out of breath, he said, "see grandpa, it's useless!"

"So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "look atthe basket." The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realizedthat the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coalbasket and was now clean, inside and out.

So, that's what happens when you read the book. You might not understandor remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out!!!

This story above uses a holy book as example, but applies to any book youread!!
