Walker’s got Irish assassins, peace treaties in Fort Worth, and a body count climbing faster than the accents can get worse. Chuck makes out with a honey pot, Trivett finally gets to be a badass, and somebody’s couch is apparently bulletproof. We’re scene-by-scene-ing Flashpoint — the one with the exploding news van, the rocket-launcher ambush, the priest with a secret, and the absolute chaos of trying to solve the Troubles from Dallas. Awards, extras, and the usual mayhem. This one’s a ride.
Season 4, Episode 12: “Rodeo.”
Walker’s still fighting crime while we’re on the couch unleashing quips… and a whole lot of frustration. A blind hitman with a scoped pistol is systematically wiping out witnesses, and the last one left happens to be Alex’s ex-boyfriend Dalton — a bull rider who lives his life eight seconds at a time and refuses protective custody.
Cue the full rodeo circus: barrel racing that looks suspiciously slow, Chuck getting tapped out by the Machado brothers, purposeful camera pans to Chuck’s jeans (twice), a rodeo clown, an “ass competition,” and the most unnecessary plane wing-walk rescue in Walker history. Meanwhile Alex is having flashbacks, making out, and generally making Chuck (and us) wonder what the hell happened to the Whitewater progress.
Blind assassins, C4 on a camper, a female hitwoman who somehow moonlights as a competitive barrel racer, and more relationship whiplash than one episode should be allowed to have. We’re deep in the season’s emotional dip and this one is testing our patience in new and creative ways. Scene-by-scene riffs, extras of the week, and plenty of “what the actual fuck was that” energy. Join us… if you dare.
Season 4, Episode 11: “The Covenant.”
Walker’s on a crime-fighting tear while we’re on the couch unleashing quips. A local gang is shaking down businesses and starting turf wars—no vampires, no witches, just Vatos Locos rolling up on CD’s bar with bad timing and worse ideas. CD handles it the only way he knows how (shotgun first, situational awareness never), and things escalate fast.
Meanwhile Chuck’s running a karate class for disadvantaged youth that somehow includes one of the darkest trauma dumps in Walker history, a kid short seven bucks for a Christmas present, rival gangs with questionable casting, a tortilla factory that keeps getting shut down, and the usual “Walker can just order entire street gangs around and they listen” energy. Christmas music, Santa, a park party, and the classic “do unto others before they do unto you” holiday spirit.
We’re coming off a high from Whitewater and this one sits right in that familiar baseline Walker zone. Scene-by-scene riffs, extras of the week, bad guy rankings, and the ongoing Jimmy Trivette screen-time grievance. Join us.
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 4 Episodes 9 & 10 "Whitewater" (Double Episode) | Watcher Texas Ranger Podcast Review
Walker and Alex head out for a whitewater rafting and camping trip, but an escaped convict (the rafting guide) and a prison breakout turn the getaway into chaos. Meanwhile, Trivett hunts the fugitives from shore in this action-packed double episode.
The guys deliver big laughs riffing on the ridiculous timing, rafting stunts, Chuck's "vacation," and plenty of over-the-top fights and chases. High energy, guest-free chaos, and classic Walker absurdity.
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 4 Episode 8 "The Lynching" | Watcher Texas Ranger Podcast Review
A well-liked woman in a small town is murdered, and an angry mob suspects a slow-minded local man. The sheriff calls in Walker to prevent a lynching while he races to find the real killer.
This episode features plenty of riffing on small-town justice, mob chaos, and classic Walker heroics with Joe and Curt joining Clint and James for extra laughs and tangents.
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 4 Episode 7 "Final Justice" | Watcher Texas Ranger Podcast Review
A death row inmate reveals that the man who murdered Walker's parents is still alive under a new identity. Walker goes undercover with the Aryan Brotherhood to track him down, leading to intense confrontations, a massive body count (28!), and one of the most personal episodes yet.
The guys celebrate the return to peak Walker action with killer riffs, Jimmy moments, and plenty of "how did this guy not die sooner" debate. High body count, great fights, and Chuck delivering justice.
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 4 Episode 6 "Evil in the Night" | Watcher Texas Ranger Podcast Review
The guys tackle one of the strangest episodes yet when an Indian burial ground unleashes a shapeshifting skinwalker (Billy Drago) and angry spirits on a construction site. Walker seeks help from a medicine man while the team deals with ghosts, dream sequences, and supernatural chaos in this paranormal detour from the usual action.
Clint, Ryan, and James deliver plenty of riffing on the wild plot holes, questionable ghost logic, zero body count for Chuck, and one of the most frustrating episodes of the season. Expect laughs, frustration, and debate over whether this one deserves a historic low rating.
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 4 Episode 5 "Point After" Review
A high school football team is being blackmailed ahead of the state championship game, and when their coach is murdered, Walker and Trivett step in to take down the gambling ring behind it. Jimmy gets a chance to coach, leading to plenty of football action, car chases, explosions, and classic Chuck Norris fight scenes.
This football-themed episode delivers one of the highest body counts of the season, a thumbs-up ending, and pure Walker chaos on and off the field.
CD's niece Dorie is days away from her wedding when her jealous ex-boyfriend Billy Kramer escapes prison, kidnaps her, and drags her into a Bonnie and Clyde-style crime spree of bank robberies. Walker and CD race to track them down before the body count rises.
This one features a wild red GTO car chase, a chaotic trailer park showdown, vigilante chaos, and one of the most satisfying slow-motion endings in the entire series. Classic Walker action with plenty of riff-worthy absurdity.
Walker, Texas Ranger Season 4, Episode 4: "Collision Course"
The Guardians are a radical environmental group targeting oil rigs in the Gulf. Walker goes undercover on a sabotaged platform to stop their explosive plans. Meanwhile, CD checks out a suspiciously cheap boat and Walker can't even fish without pulling up trouble.
This episode delivers car chases, a nautical-themed dive bar (hello, Poop Deck), oil rig tension, and one of the most memorable water-based chases in the series. Classic Walker chaos with plenty of quips and over-the-top action.
