Over the past 20 years, I’ve probably hosted every kind of event you can imagine…
From high-ticket, ballroom-sized events like PLF Live® and LaunchCon® that took over entire hotels for the weekend to high tech virtual events from a top-of-the-line studio with thousands of attendees watching on Zoom.
That’s not including all the hybrid events… livestreams… multiday Zoom marathons…
But while I love the excitement and energy of those big productions… lately I’ve found myself drawn back to simpler, more intimate events.
Just me, a few of my top team members, and 40-50 entrepreneurs.
Events where I know everyone’s name and what their business is. Events where we can really dig in deep and I can watch a launch plan come together for someone in real time.
In this week’s episode of Dare to Launch, Dan, Chris, and I talk about why I’m so excited about these small, high-touch events right now – and why they might just be the most powerful and (believe it or not) easiest ways of connecting with your true fans right now.
We also get into:
The simple shift that can turn an in-person event from a pressure-filled gamble into a fulfilling, profitable experience
The state of live events in 2025 – we explore how the market has shifted… and what this means for you
A simple – and often overlooked – event model for connecting with your true fans (we’ll walk you through how I’m using this right now)
The problem with trying to create an intimate experience over Zoom (and what to do instead)
The magic of in-person coincidence – how a chance meeting in a hotel elevator led to me tripling my next launch
And more…
