Aaron Gocs is a beloved veteran of the Australian stand up comedy scene, and since we’ve last had him on the pod you might have seen him absolutely kill his guest vocals on our Like a Version cover of Tubthumping. Gocsy joins us on the pod this week in the midst of his run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival! We chat about the stamina required to do shows every night, the catharsis of getting a laugh out of tough personal experiences, his days as a cabbie in Brisbane, stealing chips while on the job, Todd’s time working the Villie’s bakery, what goes into a pie floater how Gocsy cut his teeth getting up between bands in the Brisbane punk music scene.

Aretha Brown is an incredible young artist, screenwriter, activist and the former Prime Minister of the National Indigenous Youth Parliament.
