They shower their targets with attention, not out of genuine affection, but to make them dependent and insecure. Once the narcissist feels in control, the love bombing subsides, replaced by devaluation and a constant need for more, leaving the victim questioning their worth. Remember, genuine love grows organically; it doesn’t demand constant attention or make you feel like you’re in a competition for your partner’s affection.
