DroneUp was founded in 2016 but the last few years have been significant. In 2022, DroneUp opened 34 delivery hubs in 6 states in partnership with Walmart. To support this growth, they also opened a dedicated training facility for flight engineers in Virginia.

Prior to working in Technology, Tom spent almost 17 years as a naval officer, pioneering military and government digital reform through extensive re-programming and web enablement of computer systems to support both U.S. and International Special Forces. He has also served as an advisor to the White House on technology innovation and its impact on the emerging workforce.
