Charlotte, Charlie and Millie discuss Nanny cameras and AirTags. They explain what a Nanny camera is, what the legalities are and whether or not they, personally, think cameras and AirTags are ethical.
The ladies discuss how much ‘watching of the camera’ by the employer is OK? Is there a line? Millie gives a balanced view from the side of the parent. If a Nanny is settled in a role and the cameras are then fitted; what is the purpose of the installation? This is a serious conversation that has to be had between the Nanny and employer.
Charlotte, Charlie and Millie argue whether they would change their day to day routine if they knew they were being tracked? Are AirTags incredible safety tools or merely tracking devices? Will AirTags become the norm in the future?

Charlotte, Charlie and Millie chat to the lovely Suzie. Suzie gives an open and honest overview of her varied and vast career from beginning until the present day.
Suzie speaks frankly about being a mother and the financial implications of that especially when she was no longer able/wanted to Nanny.
When Suzie took the plunge and decided to return to Nannying, knew her role had to tick certain boxes. She discusses her anxieties regarding returning including the complexities of taking a roles with older children versus a baby. Suzie compares the rewarding feeling of helping children meet their milestones, which really only comes from the consistency of Nannying, as opposed to social work where she was dipping in and out.
After her 1st interview she was panicking that potential employers might deem her too old? Do people not want to employ Nannies that are older than them? Her panic then diminished once her self-assurance kicked in. Suzie talks about how Nannying has changed since her last employment 17 years ago, is it easier or harder now?
One thing is for sure, despite Suzie’s ever evolving career, her constant love for children shines through.

The ladies discuss what happens before the baby is born. Who is looking after the child(ren) if labor happens overnight? Are retainers a thing?! They discuss the Nanny’s workload and whether a pay rise is guaranteed. Should a Nanny ask?
