The word "narcissist" is used a lot these days. It's mostly an unfortunate mix up and muddle of two things that we already have words for.  There's kind of no such thing as a "narcissist", but there are sociopaths and there are dysfunctional people. It doesn't matter what you call them, as long as you know there's only one monster.
