This week at Erskin Court
Deep in the realm of the paranormal, there are whispers of a student named Linda who has returned to college, but her brain has mysteriously grown massive. Some say she's even attracted to brains and has a penchant for 90s fashion and pretending she's down with the kids. But that's just the beginning of the eerie tales that have surfaced this week.
This week Linda and I delve into the world of ghost hunting, scouring reviews from haunted places across the globe. Some of these reviews even mention Karl and Stuart from the infamous show 'Most Haunted', that vent disappointment when no spirit activity occurring on these paid for ghost hunts. Could it be that the spirits are simply toying with them?...'Spirt be spirit' as they say.
One Chris Lumb, part of the duo known as 'The Halls of the Ridiculous', recounts a chilling story of a ghostly girl he once saw while working at an old Odeon cinema. He believes that she and a knight now serve as his spirit guides, guiding him through his life.
But the strangeness doesn't end there. An article surfaces discussing a ghostly masturbating monkey, while Linda herself admits to witnessing one engage in the act during a date she had (with a man) at Monkey World. Is there a deeper connection between the paranormal and the animal world?
Professor Joseph also delves into the unexplainable, speaking to Derek Kylie at an RAF base somewhere in the UK about UAPs and sonic booms. Could these be linked to the realm of the paranormal?
And finally, a comic named Howard Anstock shares his childhood experiences with ghosts, from his own home to a haunted boarding school, and even a relative who was pushed into a bush by an unseen entity. It seems that the world of the supernatural is closer than we think.

Welcome to Erskin Court! This week, Linda and I try to figure out what she's been up to. Apparently, she's been broke and coughed up £50 for birthday presents. Should we start a GoFundMe for Linda? :D
In other spooky news, Kelly Neal's cat from Halifax is featured this week. Olive the cat lived in a haunted house with Kelly and witnessed some strange happenings. Kelly even has a photo (only on patreon) of Olive being stroked by a misty white hand! And things weren't just happening to the cat - cans of deodorant moved on their own and Kelly's daughter even saw her mom in two places at once. Yikes!
We also take a break from fate and fortune to talk about premonitions. Presenter Christine Lampard dreamt about being in a plane days before 9/11 happened. We investigate other celebs who have had visions of the future.
New resident Ruth Abbott in number 6 reports that her flat is haunted by the previous resident, Mrs. Stewart. I get roped into performing a spirit removal, which turns into an absolute nightmare.
Dean James Fox is back with the problem-solving section of the podcast. One letter he received is from someone going through a messy divorce and wondering if there's a ritual to let go of the past. Dean explains the "rubbing you out of my life" ritual. Interesting.
We meet up with the paranormal team, Claire and Kevin, and talk about the human pendulum technique and the parabolic ear. It's all about communicating with the dead, folks.
I speak with Steven Wilson, the guitarist, lead singer, and artist from Porcupine Tree. He shares a spooky story about working late in a studio when he heard footsteps through the microphones - but no one was there. It turns out the studio was built on a site with a dark history.
Linda is off to load up on Easter eggs and thinks I'm a Bournville chocolate kind of person. What chocolate person are you?
Anyway, all these burning issues will have to wait.
For now, head over to www.clintonbaptiste.com/gigs to check out our upcoming shows.
Stay spooky, folks!

As the dark autumn nights settle in, Linda spins and twirls in her salsa class, the only woman in a sea of ladies. The lone man in the class struggles to keep up, his body drained of energy by the spirits that haunt the studio. By the end of the class, he is but a dried-up husk, a shell of his former self, drained of his vitality by the mysterious forces that surround them. The dance floor may seem innocent, but it hides secrets that would send shivers down your spine.
As we prepare for a new season, we must also cleanse our souls and rid ourselves of any negative energies that linger. The story of the 15-year-old girl who can see spirits reminds us that there is more to this world than meets the eye. Her spiritual skills have allowed her to expand her cleaning company, purging homes of any unwanted presence.
The universe holds many secrets, including the existence of extraterrestrial life. Professor Joseph Laevens PHD speaks with Wing Commander Freddy at RAF Northholt about the mysteries of UFOs. The conversation recorded thanks to the MOD is sure to send shivers down your spine.
But not all stories are meant to scare. Fate and Fortune spiritual advisor James Dean Fox offers his helpful advice on finding love, battling addiction, and connecting with the divine.
As Angelos returns, we can only hope that his ghost stories aren't too terrifying. Barry ventures upstairs to speak with organist Irene Harding, but her virus weariness and reluctance to leave her flat hint at a darker problem lurking within.
We continue to explore the unknown with Fate and Fortune's Sandrea Mosses, who receives messages from beyond. And even comedian Susan Murray has her own spooky tale to tell, of a ghostly encounter on the toilet.

Spring is in the air and Linda's been lounging in bed (she's still staying at her sister's house). She's feeling a bit defeated, but promises to get back to her routine soon.
Linda's been taking dance classes, and there's a handsome young instructor named Emilio. However, Linda is about as exotic as a bowl of spaghetti bolognaise, so I don't think their romance will go very far.
This week, we played back a recording of Amanda Abbington, who had a haunting in her house. My producer and I captured a snippet of a ghostly scream on the recording, which shocked Linda, although she remained somewhat skeptical. Come on, Linda, open your mind! Ghosts exist, and we'll prove it to you. Send us your MP3 recordings to [email protected]
In Fate and Fortune, we have a story about a man who wakes up from surgery with visions of ghostly doctors blowing smoke up his arse, and how they saved his life.
I also interviewed the team at Paranormal Research Ltd., including Claire, Avril, Ellie, Yvonne, Kevin, and Alan, at one of their darkest venues, Fairfield Manor, to discuss their paranormal experiences.
We have more stories from Fate and Fortune, including "My Psychic Journey," which tells the tale of a midwife who can communicate with newborn spirits. She begins by hearing the voices of babies whom soon begins communicating their messages to their mothers, even assisting with their births. As her abilities grow, she begins taking paying clients.
There's also a new resident in Erskin Court. Her name? Ruth. I can't believe it.
During a gig at Staithes Athletic Club, I spoke with Danny, Gary, and James from the "What's Happening" podcast. Danny shared a spooky story about his dad's garage, where he saw a shadowy figure in the middle of the room, causing his dog to bark and run towards it.

The Eerie Encounters of Erskin Court: Chapter Two
Welcome, dear mortals, to the eerie and chilling Erskin Court.
As the spring air whispers through the corridors of Erskin Court, Linda's new theme tune sends shivers down our spines. She regales us with a tale of the 4D Titanic film she watched recently, where the chairs moved and squirted in a most peculiar manner. Were spirits at play?
But trouble brews in these flats, as Barry dons the cloak of deception and pretends to be Richard from the management company. Alas, his prank call quickly spirals into a nightmare of ghostly proportions.
Jamie Penn shares a tale of a figure suspended in midair outside a school, a sight that would make even the bravest soul tremble. And in his ZZ Top guise, he imparts the details with a spine-tingling fervor.
Meanwhile, Jon Capewell divulges secrets he's kept hidden away, secrets that will make your hair stand on end and properly shitting yourself.
From the pages of Fate and Fortune, we uncover magical ways to improve your love life through the power of food. Beware, for the wrong meal could lead to a most unpleasant aftermath.
Linda's ghostly letter reveals the chilling encounters of Somerled Mackay's mother with the other side. We call upon Somerled himself to verify the truth behind these spectral visitations and clarify if it was a load of old bollocks.
And in Chat Take a Break, Paula O'Brien's pendulum swings wildly, providing answers to those seeking guidance. This week, the pendulum reveals whether one should leave their job, a decision that could have consequences in the current climate.
So beware, dear mortals, for in Erskin Court, the ghosts are always lurking, waiting to make their presence known.

Ghosts and ASMR with Barry: Spring Edition
Welcome to our paranormal podcast! In this episode, we have a range of spooky stories and interviews that are sure to make your skin crawl.
We start off with some light-hearted banter about Linda's train journeys and a ridiculous incident involving a toe-stepping mishap. Then we move on to some fantastic accordion busking music sent in by Paula Wiseman. Send in your busking music to [email protected]
We also have an interview with Phil Boz Evans, who shares a chilling story about a ghostly encounter in his office. We delve deeper into his experience and learn about the guardian angel ghosts that frequented his workspace.
Next up, we have Professor Joseph Laevens on the trail of the truth once again, speaking to Air Vice Marshall Daniel Spandt at RAF High Wycombe. Linda also shares an article from Fate and Fortune about a young boy who found a ghost in his ice cream - truly amazing stuff folks!
We then have an interview with Anth Young, who shares his spine-tingling story about his daughter's encounter with a ghostly figure in their home. And for those who enjoy ASMR, Barry from upstairs in Erskin Court has some spring-themed ASMR to help you feel relaxed.
I have a couple of go-to dance moves myself you know. First up, my mid-80s jig - it's a classic and always gets the party started. But that's not all folks, oh no. I also have the early 80s Depeche Mode/Tears for Fears dance - it's a real crowd-pleaser. You can't help but get swept up in the nostalgia of my dance moves I've been told.
Annnyywayyyyy...Enjoy and until next week. Namaste.

Namaste नमस्ते dear visitor, to Erskin Court on this beautiful spring day. But don't let the sunshine fool you, because we've got a show that'll chill you to the bone.
Linda, AKA 'resident road rager', has witnessed the balance of the universe in action on the M1. It may not be paranormal, but it's enough to make your blood run cold. And speaking of the supernatural, Amanda Abington calls in from a Westend play to share her haunting encounter with an old lady and a ghost girl named Amy.
But that's not all. We've got a Facebook marketplace purchase that'll make your spine tingle - a packet of haunted Cheezy Doritos from 1984. You can see the actual packet on my Patreon page, along with other creepy purchases that are sure to make your skin crawl.
And speaking of things that go bump in the night, former porn star Louise Hodges shares her encounter with a ghostly man who walked into her bedroom looking for her attention. It's enough to make you sleep with one eye open. ;)
But the pièce de résistance? Linda and I read a spine-tingling tale from 1921 about disembodied hairy hands on a steering wheel of a moving car. It's a story that originated from Dartmoor in the UK, and it's enough to make even the bravest souls shiver in fear. And if that's not enough for you, investigative reporter and broadcaster Jacques Peretti shares his own experience with a similar incident that took control of his car when passing the entrance to a cemetery in Bangor, Northern Ireland. It's proof positive that the paranormal is all around us.
Don't miss out on the full version of our spooky show on my Patreon page, where you can get access to exclusive videos, animations, downloads, cartoons, and archive recordings. Join us in the fun...if you dare.

Namaste
...and welcome, dear listeners, to my latest podcast.
In this episode, we have Linda joining us to talk about her recent trip to France with her friend Julie, which turned out to be a bit unpleasant due to a certain smell. We also discuss romance and what it means to both of us, and Linda shares some amusing anecdotes about N-Sync and old hats.
Later on, we have a special guest, the supernatural believer and TV celebrity Vic Reeves, who shares his own paranormal experiences. He tells us about encountering a ghostly figure who fell into a wool blending machine and returned as a patchwork ghost quilt of a man, which is quite spooky indeed.
Additionally, we have an article from Take a Break's "Fate and Fortune" magazine about a sensitive woman who had a sixth sense when meeting people for the first time.
At Erskin Court, we have six flats, and in this episode, we get to hear a conversation between Peter Rawlings and Barry. Peter investigates the wet wipes problem in the drains and blames Barry's wife Margaret, but Barry suggests speaking to Mrs. Harding instead.
Finally, we have Sam Woodford asking Sandrea Mosses to speak to his deceased friend Graham, and a listener to the podcast, Matt Pidduck, shares a haunting story about a flat he lived in.
