Thank you Amberley Snyder for taking some time out to be on our podcast, Where Rodeo Meets the road. Amberley has always been a tough competitor. Winning the world title for National Little Britches. Her toughest battle was ahead of her. After five hours of emergency surgery the doctor’s prognosis was she would never regain use or feeling below her waist. He told her if she had worn her seatbelt, she would still have use of her legs. The one mistake she made that day changed her life forever, but it has not defeated her competitive spirit. The top priority for Amberley was not even to walk, but to ride her horses again. Remarkably after only 4 months after the accident, she was back on her horse. In 2015, Amberley was voted the fan exemption contestant at the world’s richest one day rodeo, comparable to the Super Bowl, RFD-TV’s The American.  She competed with the best in the industry and was just 0.6 seconds short of the winning time and received a standing ovation from over 40,000 fans in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  Always a competitor, Amberley qualified for her first Pro Rodeo Wilderness Circuit Finals in 2021.  She continues to compete as a professional athlete and has become one of the most sought-after social influencers and motivational

Thank you Stetson Jorgensen for being on our show "Where Rodeo Meets the Road." Stetson is Coming off a career high season of $235,288, and finishing 6th in the world standing. Stetson Also qualified for his fourth strait trip to Las Vegas to compete at the National Finals Rodeo. Stetson has been competing in the PRCA since 2016, but is no stranger to being in the pen. Stetson Rodeoed in high school, and did more than just bulldogging. Stetson also rode rough stock, roping and bull riding. Stetson is off to a good start in 2023, and we hope to see him back in Vegas in December.

Matt Merritt PBR and Pro Rodeo entertainer took time out of his day to discuss his career as a Rodeo Entertainer from his beginnings in the industry to where he is today. Matt has been the entertainer most recently at The American Rodeo in Arlington, and the Fort Worth Stock Show. Matt has had a blessed career and has traveled the world doing what he loves, entertaining people. Thank you Jackie for spending some time with us to talk about your exciting start to 2023. Jackie Ganter is no stranger to the horse industry. Jackie is a third generation cowgirl from Abilene, Texas. Jackie was the Resistol Rookie of the year in 2015, and is the winningest rookie to day earning $164k that year. She made the trip back to back in 2015 and 2016. Fast forward to 2023 and Jackie is on fire once again. Jackie was able to win Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo on her favorite horse Tycoon. Down to San Antonio where she won a round and finished third in the short go. Early in the season we find Jackie #1 in the world standings with about 7 months of rodeo left in the season. On todays show meet 9 year old Dusky hall. Dusky is no stranger to barrel racing and is on a mission to run for a million the this years American Rodeo. Last year Dusky made it to the Semi Finals, and just came up short. This year Dusky will be running in the contender finals at Globe Life Field in Arlington, with a chance if advancing to run in the "Big show". Dusky was the Junior Champion at the Junior World Finals held in Las Vegas back in December. Dusky has big goals, and is achieving them one race at a time. We were able to catch up with Rainey in between her rodeo runs. Rainey is a Rookie in the WPRA and is off to a good start. This season Rainey has racked up three wins, Bowie, Lubbock, and Wichita Falls. Rainey has also qualified to run in this years Fort Worth Stock Show, and runs on January 26th. Big plans for this rookie for the 2022-2023 season. Keep an eye on this one.
