That's a pretty tall order but it's been proven. With gratitude, the brain automatically redirects to pay attention to what we have, proving intrinsic motivation and a strong awareness of the present. Also, at the neuro-chemical level, gratitude acts as catalyst for neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine - the ones that manage our emotions, anxiety, and immediate stress responses.
