Why Leaders Need to be Curious - COO of Aledade Care Solutions, Doug Streat

Listen Later

Curious leaders are successful leaders. When you're curious, you're constantly learning and growing which helps you become a better leader. You're also more open-minded and creative, which can lead to new and innovative ideas. So if you want to be a successful leader, start by being curious.

Many think that being a leader means having all the answers, but that's not true. Leaders need to be curious in order to learn and grow, and if they're not then they'll quickly fall behind.

I host Doug Streat, COO of Aledade Care Solutions, where we explore the importance of curiosity in leadership and how it helps you achieve your goals.

Aledade is the leading primary care enablement company, and supports independent primary care practices by giving them the tools and technology to deliver higher-quality care and improve patient outcomes. They have nearly 1000 employees and serve 1.7M patients in over 40 states.

Aledade is one of the less than 1 percent of private companies to reach a $1 billion valuation.

Doug has been with Aledade for over five years. He began his journey with the company as a Product Fellow, and has grown into his current role in the C-Suite.

He has an undergraduate degree in psychology and neuroscience and a Masters in Public Health from Yale.
