INFJ Life Coach Lesson: Today, we're talking about why others underestimate the INFJ so often. There are two main reasons for this. On the one hand, we tend to be lean-back, meaning we don't show our strength. Very often we observer. We look at the situation, we analyze it. And then we act in that moment when it makes sense. That of course doesn't allow other people to see our strength because on the outside we look like somebody who's doing much less than we're actually capable of. The second reason why people underestimate us is the fact that we always like to do the least amount possible. This is happening because we love to optimize situations. It's our gift that we can come to a new environment and we understand how it works. Then we synthesize and optimize it and do the bare minimum. It's our natural tendency. It's a gift. It's not something that we do because we couldn't do more. It's because that's our way of operating: minimizing, optimizing, and synthesizing. So when we know this, how are we going to use this? Are you just going to go through life and say, okay, people are just going to underestimate me and I'm not going to feel good about myself. I just have to accept the fact that this is how it's going to be. No, that's definitely not the case because you wouldn't be bothered If people underestimated you, if you didn't care about it.

You can tell yourself, oh, I'm just going to stop caring about this. It's much deeper than this. If it was that easy, this wouldn't be a problem in the first place. So it takes a certain kind of strategy that we're gonna talk about today to get to a point where you don't feel like you're being underestimated, where you also don't care if others do, but at the same time, you're challenging yourself. And it's a positive circle in itself. So you keep doing certain things. You start believing in yourself. And because of that, people underestimate you less and less. It's really fascinating. So we're going to talk about it in detail today.
