This week I'm joined by Natalie Shilton - a menstruality mentor trained with Red School, a somatic practitioner who weaves in embodied dance and astrology.
Natalie shares how she walked away from a business she'd spent eight years building, and what that ending taught her about trusting cycles. We talk about the grief of endings in a world that doesn't know how to hold grief, and how resisting an ending often hurts more than letting it happen.
Then we get into the heart of the episode: inner autumn, the premenstrual phase where the inner critic is most at home. Natalie explains why this phase stirs up everything we've minimised, denied and avoided. She also shares her four Ps for working with the inner critic: Place, Personify, Perspective and Power.

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Wild, and Whole. After a year away it's so nice to step back into this space, reflecting on the journey since my last recording. Many things have happened in the in-between. The last episode featured a discussion on pleasure and sexuality, and now, I find myself deeply embedded in that world.
I hope you enjoy the 'hello' episode and it invites you to find the pause. Sending Love, Lydia

In this episode, I am joined by my muse Luzi Pods for a deeply nourishing conversation on the transformative power of self-pleasure and how it can ripple into every area of our lives. Together, we explore how emotions are energy that must move through the body, and how grief and pleasure are often more interconnected than we realise. Luzi shares her personal journey of awakening, including her experience with kundalini energy, and offers powerful insights into conscious masturbation as a pathway to self-discovery, empowerment, and self-love.
We also discuss the permission and exploration required to truly access pleasure, how integrating trauma with pleasure can be a delicate yet healing process, and why community and sisterhood are such vital anchors for this work. This conversation is a reminder that when we bring consciousness into our sexuality, we reclaim the wild feminine spirit and open ourselves to deeper acceptance, connection, and freedom.

Join me for this yummy conversation with Fiona Mccoss, where we dive into the realms of wild feminine embodiment, sexuality, and reclaiming power through archetypes. Fiona shares her journey as a women's mentor, highlighting the importance of understanding sexuality as something far deeper than just the physical, and the necessity of reconnecting with the wild woman within.
Together, we explore the complexity of the whore archetype, the dark feminine, and the power of authenticity when it comes to navigating desire and self-discovery. This conversation is a powerful reminder for women to embrace their true nature and honour the many layers of their femininity.
We also touch on themes of self-love, empowerment, and the reclamation of pleasure through the archetype of the wild woman. From acknowledging trauma to redefining pleasure in simple, everyday ways, this dialogue highlights the importance of personal sovereignty. It reminds us that true fulfilment originates from within, not from external validation.

In this episode, I share my transformative experience at a sexuality retreat centred on de-armouring and emotional exploration. I talk about the Gaia Method, a body-oriented approach to healing, and reflect on powerful themes like intimacy, consent, and reclaiming personal power.
This journey led me into deep self-discovery, understanding the connection between sexuality and self-love, and breaking free from societal expectations around female sexuality. I open up about the emotional process of witnessing and holding space for raw feminine expression, the healing that came through connection and compassion, and how self-love played a vital role in healing trauma stored in my body.
Through it all, I reflect on how I found safety in pleasure, strength in vulnerability, and a deeper calling to support others on this path.

Wild, Wise & Whole is a podcast for women who feel the call to slow down, soften, and come back into relationship with their bodies.
Hosted by Lydia, a Somatic…
Each episode explores what it truly means to be wild, wise, and whole, not as an identity to perform, but as a lived, embodied practice. Through conversations on trauma, the nervous system, sexuality, feminine rhythm, devotion, and embodied leadership, this podcast invites you into a slower, more honest way of relating to yourself and your life.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, disconnection, shame, or a quiet longing to feel more at home in your body, Wild, Wise & Whole offers reflections, conversations, and practices grounded in reverence for your nervous system, your cyclical nature, and the woman you are becoming.
This is a space to meet yourself with care.
To soften rather than override.
To remember what your body already knows.
