Under his guidance, the company experienced impressive growth, doubling in size and increasing profitability margins by 20%. Michael also established enduring partnerships with renowned names in the hospitality and restaurant industries, such as Panda Express, Four Seasons Hotels, and Ritz Carlton. His insights and expertise have earned him recognition as a sought-after commentator in national publications like USA Today, Hotel Interactive, and INC Magazine.
Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Michael served as Vice President of a Commercial Bank, where he spearheaded marketing, communications, and outreach efforts for small and medium-sized businesses across Southern California. During his tenure, he played a key role in facilitating a significant merger between his institution and a competitor.
Michael's educational background includes a Communications degree from the University of Southern California (USC) and an MBA from California Lutheran University, with a focus on Small Business Entrepreneurship. He is a firm believer in community service and has served as a mentor at USC, guiding first-generation college students through their transition into higher education and career preparation. Furthermore, Michael actively participates in the Los Angeles Chapter of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EOLA), where he chairs the Finance Committee and oversees expenditures and budgets. He has also taken on mentorship and coaching roles for numerous business owners seeking to scale their enterprises.
Residing in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles with his wife Devra and their daughters Juliette and Sofia, Michael enjoys leisurely activities such as reading and passionately supporting his favorite baseball team, the New York Yankees.
