1. A new round of tariffs and the impact on you! President Trump's announcement of new tariffs on pharmaceuticals, kitchen cabinets, and big-rig trucks is already creating concerns among businesses and governments abroad. The President announced a 100% tariff on pharmaceutical products starting October 1st, unless the manufacturing plants are made here in the U.S. If the president and the administration do go through with this, it could significantly raise the costs of those pharmaceutical drugs.
2. Mysterious drones are back in the news again, this time in Europe! The latest drone reports came after Copenhagen Airport was forced to close for several hours on Monday night, as was Oslo Airport in southern Norway. Recall late last year, when there were several sightings of similarly mysterious drones near the Newark Airport in New Jersey. Over 5,000 tips were investigated in that case, but the FBI found no national security risk. As for the European drones, the official origin or purpose of the drone flights is not yet clear.
3. A new list of the most stressful airports is out! We all know Milwaukee Mitchell isn't on that list. According to a new ranking from CBD company, Mood.com, Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Wisconsin is the fourth most stressful airport. They say arrivals at Chippewa Valley Regional routinely land more than an hour late. Colorado's Aspen/Pitkin Airport was named the most stressful airport in the country, with almost 9% of its flights cancelled and average departure delays topping 45 minutes.
