ABC News Correspondent Jim Ryan talks about how fourteen years before floodwaters inundated Camp Mystic in Central Texas, federal regulators redrew flood-risk maps to exclude many of the camp’s buildings. On July 4th, the Guadalupe River overflowed its banks, inundating Camp Mystic and taking the lives of more than two dozen campers and counselors. Meanwhile, more than 100,000 individuals, organizations and corporations have collectively donated over $30 million to relief efforts in the devastated Texas Hill Country.

1. A second person has now died after a deadly shooting in downtown Milwaukee over the weekend.Milwaukee Police just announced a 30-year-old has died after the shooting early Saturday morning. It happened just after midnight, near Water and Michigan. The first victim, 52-year-old Antwan Hogans, also known as "Tweezy" died there at the scene. He was a popular local club promoter and owner of a hookah lounge. Three other people were also shot. Police arrested a 24-year-old man in connection to the shooting, but they say they're still looking for other suspects.

2. Additional assistance from Wisconsin in Texas. A 16-member swiftwater team is at work today assisting with searching for those still missing following devastating flooding in the Texas Hill Country. 161 people from the area remain missing and efforts to find them are ongoing according to local officials. The death toll is 129. Recovery efforts were halted on Sunday due to more flooding in the area. A flash flood warning was issued for parts of Kerr County on Sunday morning. A flood watch expired at 9:00 this morning. An 8-member recovery crew was deployed last week, complete with 3 canine assisting in efforts on the ground.

3. Right now the Wisconsin DNR is on the hunt for a black bear that attacked someone in Barron County. The bear attacked a 69-year-old woman near the town of Comstock on Saturday. She was able to call 911 and was rushed to the hospital. The Wisconsin DNR says she has serious injuries. DNR wardens tried to track the bear down with the help of a trained hound... but couldn't find it. However, they did find a cub in a nearby tree. Several bear traps are now set up at the scene. They don't know why it attacked. The goal is to capture the bear, euthanize it, and assess its condition.

The 32-year-old lost his life in the line of duty last month. Officer Corder and his partner were shot while responding to a call on the city's north side. His partner, Officer Christopher McCray, was hurt, but survived. Officer Corder died at Froedtert days later. He had served with the Milwaukee Police Department for more than six years. Law enforcement officers from across the country are here in Milwaukee to honor and remember Officer Corder. We talked with the VP for the Milwaukee Police Association about his thoughts on this heartbreaking day. The visitation goes for another 50 minutes. The funeral starts at 2:30. Flags are flying at half-staff today across the state in honor of Officer Corder.

2. One week removed from devastating and deadly flooding in central Texas and more than 170 people, children and adults, remain missing. A task force from Wisconsin is aiding in the recovery efforts. The 8 member team is known as a Canine Human Remains Detection Mission Ready Package consisting of a search team leader, two K9 handlers, a logistics team manager, a logistics support specialist, and three very important K9s (Duke, Merlin, and Reaper). The stories coming out of Texas range from heroic to heartbreaking. President Trump is in Texas today taking an aerial view of the devastation and meeting with first responders and grieving families. The President will also visit a state emergency operations center and get a briefing from state and local officials.
