1. The National Transportation Safety board has sent the group to New York to investigate the Mexican navy ship that crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge over the weekend. The "go team" includes experts in nautical operations, marine and bridge engineering, and survival factors. Two people were killed when the ship crashed into the bridge Saturday night. Investigators are now working to unravel what happened, but it sounds like the ship lost power as it was backing out of the pier. Then, the current pushed the ship towards the Brooklyn Bridge. The two people who were killed were both in their early 20s. Today, the NTSB investigators will work to secure the ship's voyage data recorder. That should reveal crucial information about how the crash happened.

2. A big meeting between Giannis and the Bucks is scheduled for mid-week according to NBA Insider Chris Haynes. Giannis has two-years, and a third-year player option left on his contract. All sorts of speculation on which teams could make the Bucks the most attractive offer. Keep in mind, the Bucks have not communicated any desire to trade Giannis. They are not shopping teams, but they will no doubt be hearing from teams.

3. New Summerfest Experiences! We just got the new lineup. Something different to check out this year is "Astral Relics of the Great North Woods." It's an immersive art installation from Milwaukee-based FuzzPop Workshop. That's the group that brought that cool light and sound-based cornfield last year. This is how they describe the new experience this year: "A mythical North Woods dreamscape... where ancient forest spirits harness the magic of the Aurora Borealis... in a cosmic chorus of light and song. Something else that's new this year: Dean's Dip Pickleball Village. It will host open play and clinics for men, women, kids, and beginners!

First responders in Wisconsin began to surveil the damage from a series of storms Thursday that brought heavy rain and tornadoes.

2. The Justice Department is considering dropping the criminal charges against Boeing for two deadly 737 Max 8 crashes. Attorneys for the families say Boeing’s CEO and lawyers have signed a confession of guilt, and they can’t walk away from that. Boeing went on record saying it has settled more than 90% of claims from the two 737 MAX 8 accidents and paid billions of dollars in compensation to the families through lawsuits.
