WTMJ News Host Connie Weber talks about the 30th anniversary of the Oklahoma bombing, who was working in the area at the time. What experiences/perspective can she share from the event? How is it being remembered on the 30th anniversary?

1. Families in southern Wisconsin are assessing the damage after hail hit this morning. The warning from the National Weather Service said the destructive storm could contain baseball sized hail. We do have reports of hail as big as golf balls in Ixonia and marble sized hail in Waukesha. Tennis ball sized hail was reported in other parts of the state. In addition to the hail, we also experienced thunder and intense rain. Flash flooding and hail made for an inconvenient morning. Another round of storms is possible this afternoon and tonight.

2. Suspect identified, now the search is on for a motive after the stepson of a sheriff's deputy killed two people and injured six others at Florida State University. Police say they shot 20-year-old Phoenix Ikner after he ignored repeated commands to drop his weapon. Ikner was also a member of the Sheriff's Youth Advisory Council and engaged in many training programs at the Leon County Sheriff's Office. Classmates say he was kicked out of a political discussion group for communicating white supremacist views. Ikner remains in police custody.

3. Big recall underway! Hundreds of thousands of phone chargers are being recalled. The brand: Case-ly. The cases were sold online-- including at the company's website and Amazon. The company received more than 50 reports from people about the charger's batteries overheating, expanding, or catching fire. At least six people were burned.

1. A new nationwide poll is out today on Artificial Intelligence. The results show many Americans celebrate the fact AI is here to stay. Others dread it. A couple other key points: Only 12 percent of Americans feel they know a "great deal" about artificial intelligence while 17 percent say they really don't know anything at all about it. As with most technology, the younger the respondent, the more likely that person was not only to understand AI, but to embrace it. But even 'Gen Z' Americans worry that the technology will diminish their ability to think for themselves.

2. Just announced today: The concert for the NFL Draft! The Draft begins in Green Bay one week from today! And the best college football players won't be the only talent we see. Three-time Grammy Award winning country music star Brad Paisley will headline the Draft concert series in Green Bay. He'll close out the event with a performance next Saturday. The show is scheduled to begin shortly after the end of the 7th round. The concert is free and open to the public. A drone show will take place following rounds two and three on Friday.
