Today the President slammed Powell. He said his "termination" couldn't come fast enough.

2. Today is an off day for the Brewers, and busy one for Christian Yelich. The Yelich family hosts the third annual Home Plate Charity Jam tonight at The Pabst Theater. Charlie Berens is the event's MC. The Goo Goo Dolls are the headlining musical act. 3. Scientists are sounding alarms... as the Trump administration looks to end the FDA’s routine food inspections. The administration wants to farm them out to state and local agencies instead. The executive director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest says states are already struggling under prior budget cuts and they can't pick up the slack. He says job cuts at federal health agencies have already left the market under-regulated.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the cancelation of two D-H-S grants totaling over 2.7 million dollars to Harvard University, declaring it unfit to be entrusted with taxpayer dollars. The IRS can revoke status, but the law currently states that neither the President, the Vice President, or anybody in the Executive Office of the President can tell the IRS to investigate specific taxpayers.

3. The NFL Draft begins one week from tonight. The best college talent won't be the only ones taking the draft stage outside Lambeau Field. Three-time Grammy Award winning Country Music Star Brad Paisley will headline the Draft concert series in Green Bay and close out the event with a performance on April 26th. The show is scheduled to begin shortly after the conclusion of the 7th round. The show is free and open to the public. A drone show will take place following rounds two and three on Friday.

1. The development of a Buc-ees in Oak Creek faces another hurdle. A 20-page lawsuit filed by the Oak Creek Neighbors United group challenges the City's decision to rezone the area to make room for the giant travel plaza. The lawsuit argues that the neighboring community will endure increased light pollution, crime, and traffic congestion due to the development. The lawsuit also alleges that the city lacks the legal authority to rezone the land. The Buc-ee's proposed for Oak Creek will be a 73,370-square-foot convenience store and fueling plaza featuring 120 gas pumps. The City of Oak Creek has approximately 45 days to respond to the lawsuit.

2. A new Netflix documentary premiering in May explores the off-the-field life of Brett Favre. The three-part series is titled, ‘Untold: The Fall of Favre’. The documentary dives into Favre's professional career, including the scandals and challenges he faced...including his harassment of New York Jets team host Jenn Sterger in 2008 and the more recent welfare funds scandal Favre was involved in in Mississippi. ‘The Fall of Favre’ debuts on Netflix May 20th, as a three-part series.
