In this episode Claudia and Dan talk about that moment in her recovery where she "chose her world".

Strategies, impacts and much more about shifting our focus from illness to health.
Finding out how to recover from CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or ME/CFS) as well as Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and MCS seemed downright impossible when nobody seems to know what's wrong with you.
Kristin shares her CFS recovery story in this wonderful detailed interview and talks about the treatments she tried, the ups and downs, her relapses and the constant expansion of diagnoses and symptoms.
We discuss her first remission from CFS/POTS/MCS and how she ended up relapsing again.
So how does she turn it all around? Kristin tells her story of changing her CFS recovery approach and delving deeper to unravel PTSD and Bulimia that she had been dealing with for many years to reach full health.
It's a long and detailed interview, so check it out in parts and gain from her wisdom in your time.
In this episode, world-renowned fibromyalgia researcher Professor Dr. Kati Thieme shares her research and understanding of the root cause of fibromyalgia. She tells of how her theoretical research accidentally led to the discovery of an effective treatment for fibromyalgia called Systolic Extinction Training (SET), which when combined with psychological brain-training strategies, is very effective in resolving chronic pain in fibromyalgia and other conditions.
Professor Dr Kati Thieme explains how blood pressure and baroreceptor sensitivity relays to the autonomic nervous system (ANS) in the brainstem via the NTS nucleus, and how this part of the brain becomes 'blind' to the data from the body leading to dysregulation or dysautonomia as well as chronic pain.
We discuss heart rate variability in this context as well as problems around fibromyalgia research and why a tailored approach to recovery is required, plus much more.
After speaking with 100s of people that have found a way to cure their Fibromyalgia, POTS, ME/CFS and MCS, there are many learnings to be shared.
Raelan Agle who also shares recovery interviews on her YouTube channel was the ideal person to join me for a conversation about recovery.
We discuss what we learned from our interviews, commonalities around the onset of illness, how rare recoveries may or may not be and some of the pitfalls people experience, plus much more.
In this episode of the Wisdom From The Other Side podcast we discuss WHY the focus of the book is so key for people to recover from ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia and POTS.
Claudia asks how I came up for the hypothesis for the pathogenesis of the illness (the root cause of the illness), and we discussed why it has touched so many people so deeply. We also discuss some of the KEY points of the book, how the book unravels so many of the mysteries of this illness in terms of how people get sick and how they recover, as well as the endless list of symptoms.
Dr Jacob Teitelbaum is one of the world's leading ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia and POTS physicians and shares his experience and insights in this episode of the Wisdom from the Other Side Podcast.
Dan & Dr Teitelbaum discuss their common ground on the pathogenesis of the illness, treatment approaches and delve into specifics around stubborn difficulties with sleep, hormonal cycles and much more.
