Today we're looking at a business owner's superpower: stickability. It's the willingness and ability to hang in there, try again, and find a way. When you're starting (or sustaining) a business, you wear lots of different hats, and inevitably you'll have to do things that are hard or outside your expertise. When there's noone to handball the task to, you just have to work it out. And that's where stickability comes into play.
In this episode I'm sharing the two key ingredients for stickability, and how you can develop this in yourself. It'll serve you well in business and life in general.

I started the year feeling tired and unmotivated. My old habit would have been to push myself to 'start the year strong', but 10 years of cyclical living has taught me to lean into the waning when it happens.
In the first fresh episode for 2025, let's chat about finding your own rhythm for the year ahead. There are infinte opportunities to start again, and you get to choose when is right for you.
We'll take some inspiration from the story of Hanuman from the ancient Indian epic, The Ramayana. Knowing he had a massive task ahead of him, he paused and drew on his own strengths and those around him, before jumping (literally) into it.

In this episode, I guide you through a meditation focused on letting go. It's an ideal practice for your menstruation phase, or at the dark moon. It’s also a good one for any time you need to give yourself some time out from all that you’ve been holding.

In this episode I’m sharing a simple technique that could help you get clear on what matters to you, cut through some overwhelm, and ultimately feel good at the end of your day. Have a try starting your day with this sentence: ‘If I do nothing else today, I will…’

Calling all perfectionists, and those who are perfectionists but don't even realise! So everone, really. Perfectionism is rife in our culture, with a particular potency and flavour among women. And somtimes it's just below the surface, holding us back in ways we're not even aware of. Today's episode poses the question, 'when did you promise perfect, and who did you promise it to?' We look at signs you might be unconsciously 'promising perfect' to yourself or others, why this is really unhelpful, and what we can do as an alternative.

My friend and colleague, Kathy Peterson, and I just finished our first ever round of Project 333. It involves limiting your wardrobe to 33 items for three months. In this episode we chat about why we decided to do it, how the reality stacked up against our expectations, and the unexpected benefits of the experience. If you’re interested in living with less, reducing decision fatigue, or just trying something different, this could be for you. Have a listen as we chat through our experience and whether we’ll be doing it again.

It’s so easy to slip into feeling like we’re not quite where we’re meant to be in life, or that we’ve missed life’s opportunities, or that someone else is just doing life, well… better than us.
I for one have missed so many of the milestones of a conventional life path. And yet, I wouldn’t change a bit of it. Today I want to encourage you that you’re on your own path, and you’re right on time!
