而恰好的是，本集的歌曲同樣是寫給孩子的—我們先前介紹過的爵士鋼琴大師 Bill Evans 寫給姪女的《Waltz for Debby》爵士經典。這首只有80秒的短曲居然被翻唱超過300次！John老師和詩敏老師也沉浸在歌詞裡那個充滿玩具和想像力的童年世界，還有大人們看著孩子長大時那種又甜又苦的複雜心情 🥲

This week, English Cafe welcomes back the long-absent Shimin. The episode begins with her experience of losing a beloved pet and transitions to a surprising statistic: the number of pets in Taiwan has now exceeded the number of human children!

Coincidentally, this episode's featured song is also written for a child—the jazz classic "Waltz for Debby" by jazz piano master Bill Evans, which we've introduced before, written for his niece.
