In many public places in China, smoking is officially banned indoors, yet you can still find people smoking in restaurants, bars, and shopping malls. In this episode, I share a recent viral video on social media and my own experiences encountering secondhand smoke on trains and streets. We’ll discuss the challenges of stopping public smoking and the improvements China has made in recent years.
