大家好，欢迎收听新一期的五分钟中文。今天我想跟大家讲一讲“黄牛”。从字面上看，黄是yellow，牛是cow，黄牛就是黄色的牛。黄牛确实是中国的一种牛。可是今天我想跟大家聊的不是牛，是一种职业。

黄牛就是俗称“票贩子”，就是倒卖各种票的人。在20世纪的上海，票贩子们抢购票时常常像一群黄牛一样骚动，所以人们就把他们叫做黄牛或者黄牛党。不过黄牛不只倒卖票，还倒卖其他东西。在市场中，黄牛们用正常的价格大量购买人们需要的商品，比如新的电子产品或者活动门票，并且希望这些商品售罄或者卖完。这样的话，人们通过正规渠道就没有办法买到自己想要的商品，只能找“黄牛”买。这时候黄牛就可以用更高的价格卖出自己之前用正（常）价（格）购买的商品，由此获得高额差价利润。

比如，在中国，人们有春节回家过年的传统。每年“春运”的时候，因为大家都在这几天买火车票，常常“一票难求”，就是买不到票。这时候很多人就会买黄牛票，黄牛们就可以把手中的票卖出高价。

医院里也有黄牛。他们用各种办法拿到很多医生的预约。这样，想看病的病人就没办法及时约到医生。如果想早点儿看上医生，就只能从黄牛那儿购买预约。越有名的医生，越难约上的医生，黄牛的价格也就更贵。
