We all have moments when we've lost our cool with our kids, right? We all have parenting moments where we weren’t our best. Even if we have the tools to regulate when we’re feeling triggered, there are just times where the internal and external circumstances are such that even for seemingly trivial things, we snap.
The good news is that our kids don’t need perfect parents. What they do need, is to know that their relationship with us is still intact, and that they can trust us, even though we’re going to mess up sometimes. So when (not if!) these tough parenting moments happen, we can be intentional about repairing our relationship with our kids.
This episode is for you if you're looking for concrete ways you can effectively repair with your kids after losing your cool.
