In the first episode of this four-part series, I’m sharing how I got pulled into a high-control religious environment that promised supernatural power, purpose, and healing. Despite what it offered, the church left me confused, silenced, and slowly unraveling. From speaking in tongues to witnessing “miracles,” I thought I was part of something divine, but I was being groomed to abandon my own discernment. This is where the unraveling began.
